Dawn 2006!!
March 15th, 2006 | Posted in » Upcoming Events
Thought I’d bump this post to the front… Dawn 2006 begins tonight!
————————————————————————————
Here’s an event you won’t want to miss… Dawn 2006, hosted by Missouri Valley Baptist Church.
I can’t say enough about how exciting an opportunity this is to get informed about missions and inspired to participate! Micah (micahfries.com) and other Missouri Valley staff have done an awesome job getting this organized. Just check out the list of speakers!
I may be going out on a limb here, but I’ll say it anyway… if you’re interested in attending any portion of this event, but are from out of town and aren’t sure if you can afford to rent a hotel for a few days… let me (or Micah) know. Surely we can do something to get you fixed up with a place to stay while you’re here.

I would love to get to the Sunday sessions, but I think I live just a little too far away (New Zealand) in order to get there. Pity. Given my special interest in the subject, I’d love to hear (and talk with) Robak Hoospianmer. John, do you know if he has published anything anywhere? Perhaps I should do a search on his name to see if anything turns up (besides a possible fatwa!)

I’ll check with Micah (or he may even reply here, we do visit each other’s blogs frequently), but I think that the service will be recorded in MP3 format. We should be able to send you a copy, or download it from the Missouri Valley website. I don’t know if Robak has anything published, but a web search might be fruitful. I’ll check with Micah.
Wish you could make it over, but yeah… it’s not like you’re just down the street!

I might be over your way sometime in August/September. Do you think you could delay him a few months?
I did do a web search but it came up with not a lot. I read more about his brother who was martyred for his faith.

judah- as far as I know there is nothing published by him. we should be recording the services and making them available online if you would like to download them.

Yes, that would be great if you are planning to do that, Micah.
