I’ve re-enabled the captcha plug-in due to a recent flood of spam. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause!

Oh-oh, somebody has just had a birthday!
I’m sure it read “Age: 29″ up until… today? :D

A good tip when posting comments, especially those with captcha plug-ins that can sometimes be hard to read so that supposedly incorrect characters are typed in, is to copy your post to your clipboard before submitting it. Too often I have lost entire posts because something has gone wrong and the text area returns empty as well. Hitting the back button does not always return the post either. Remembering to copy it first has often saved a lot of frustration for me – and forgetting when the post happened to be lengthy, eloquent and particularly brilliant is quite demoralizing.

You’re quite observant, Judah… although not quite observant enough to catch the date exactly… :) You’re off by just over a week.

Truth be told, 30 was a tough one for me.

Oh to be only 30 again.
You’re just a youngster, and myself with an 18 yr old, I could practically be your Mom!
But don’t you start calling me Granny or anything rude like that! :D

Anyway, Belated Birthday Greetings – I hope you had a great day regardless.

I knew you’d use the phrase “only 30″ in response to that. Still, turning 30 wasn’t easy… it’s just hard to come to that realization that I’m not a kid anymore (maybe not even a “young adult”, depending on how you define that). Guess we all have to grow up sometime, though, right? :)

Anyway, thanks for the warm wishes!

so John, in reality many would argue that we’re not all that young (at least not as young as we used to be) and we’re not really all that adult at times, so where does that leave us?

Great question Micah. I think you’ve almost got to categorize us as adults, even though we often don’t want to see ourselves that way.

So… perhaps the term “reluctant adult” applies?

Nah, you’re both baby adults, haha! :D
