Concrete Soccer Balls
July 6th, 2006 | Posted in » In the News...
You know, some things really shouldn’t be all that funny, but they are…
Here’s a story today about some pranksters who made concrete soccer balls, and placed them throughout the city of Berlin with signs daring people to kick them. Apparently, there have been several injuries resulting from the prank, and the two perpetrators have been arrested.
I hate that people have been hurt by this, but I can’t help but laugh… it’s like something you’d see in a good cartoon!

I have no sympathy. I’ve long-since decided that soccer is a communist plot to entice our children to interest in a hopelessly boring sport where people stand for ninety minutes to watch a game that ends with a score of 1-0. Ugh.
The conspirators continue to try to excite American interest in this lost cause. They fail to understand that Americans fixed this hopeless sport years ago. We’re allowed to pick the ball up with the HANDS God gave us. It’s called football, and footballs are not round, world opinion notwithstanding.
Ok, now that I got that rant off my chest…

That ain’t no rant, Wes… that’s speaking truth with passion…

I’m with Wes on this one. Soccer is not a real sport. 0-0! Give me a break. The US did not even score a goal. The Italians scored the only US goal.

You know, it just dawned on me that this thread could spawn an international debate…
“Stinking Americans… they have no appreciation for the ‘beautiful game’…”
LOL!
