Pumpkin Carving!

October 30th, 2006 | Posted in » Just For Fun..., KC Chiefs, My Life / Family, Pictures

Okay everyone (someone… anyone?)… tell me I’m not the only parent out there that goes a bit overboard when it comes to pumpkin carving with my kids. We DEFINITELY had fun tonight… :)

Here’s the evidence.

Jeffrey checks out the pumpkin’s “guts”…

Jenna thinks it’s pretty funny…

The end result… a Kansas City Chiefs pumpkin!

You have some awesome talent! How die you get the cone shape?

    Micah…

Sbu-standard? I’m not quite sure what to make of that… :)

    Dorcas…

I couldn’t resist using this as an excuse to post some more pictures of my kids… I’ll have to post more tonight (they’re awfully cute in their costumes).

    Kevin…

The cone just came as a natural result of cutting a hole in the top… the knife was angled in toward the center of the pumpkin, and I just cut a circular hole. Nothing all that special…

    All…

Thanks for the compliments! Maybe next year I’ll have to try something SBC-related… maybe a Paige Patterson pumpkin? :)
