Prayer Request Update…

May 24th, 2007 | Posted in » Prayer Requests

Just wanted to post a quick update on Nancy’s nephew, and thank everyone for praying for him (please continue to do so!).

God has definitely been looking out for Tim throughout this… just three days ago, he was rushed to the hospital by a complete stranger, after crawling out of his wrecked vehicle… found to have a broken neck (the C-3 vertebra, the same as Christopher Reeves!)… yet today, he’s going home, and is expected to make a full recovery.

God is great!

Count your (well … his) blessings. In the last 4 years, I know of two teenage boys in our church who were killed in one-car accidents right here in Pelham. On roads I drive, with crosses where the accidents were, that I see, every day.

They were good kids. They made one mistake, showing off while driving, and it took them both away from their families.

I’m glad God answered the prayers of the faithful.

Like I said. Count your blessings.

THANKS JOHN FOR ALL YOU HAVE DONE TO HELP TIM. THE COMPLETE STRANGER GAVE HIM A CARD (that i guess he carries around for witnessing purposes) THAT SAYS “YOUR TICKET TO HEAVEN.I THINK HE MUST HAVE WITNESSED TO HIM AS WELL. TIM IS DOING WELL,BUT HE IS GOING TO HAVE A HARD TIME STAYING DOWN.HE WANTS TO GO BACK TO WORK,BUT HE HAS A LIFTING RESTRICTION OF 5#,SO HES GOING TO HAVE TO JUST RELAX.TELL ALL OF YOUR FRIENDS AND YOUR CHURCH THANKS FOR THE PRAYERS.HOPE TO SEE YOU SOON. LOVE DEBBIE(PS THANKS FOR THE COOKIES THEY ARE GREAT!!!!

I would like to hear more of this story, John, because there is more to it. We just may not know the more yet. There were specific prayers and God’s glory rich in this… thank you for sharing. May lives be changed to having an intimate relationship and knowledge of God like never before. debbie, thank you for commenting and telling us a little bit of the “more.”

Watch and Pray Ministry and Missions is a young Christian organization committed to soul-winning and evangelism. We do this through Christian films. After the show we pray and preach and hold an altar call. To sustain the program for the first year we need about $10,000. We are trusting God for this financial assistance. We are sure He will provide it because we have sincere intent. We need the prayers of the brethren of God to supply this need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
