Friday Photos — Bikers

I’ve got a couple wild bikers in my family… here’s a few photos.

Of course, biking IS hard work… rest breaks are a good thing.

Fourth of July Fun…

There’s just something about fireworks that brings out the kid in me… Even moreso when accompanied by multiple adults that should know better. :)

Let me simply say this about the Fourth. Feverish preparations for an evening get-together with friends aside… yesterday was one of the most enjoyable Independence Day holidays I can remember. Not once did I think of work… not once did I think of blogging… not once did I think of SBC Outpost or SBC matters… not once did I ever really have anything to be worried or concerned about.

The Fourth was simply fun with family, feasting on fantastic food, fellowship with friends, and fabulous fireworks.

Exactly what it should have been.

(BTW, I’ve got video of Micah Fries like you’ve never seen him before. One of these days, given the right timing or incentives, I might just share it!)

Parental Influence

I know it’s not Friday, but I’ve gotta post these photos anyway… they just can’t wait. These say more about parental influence than just about any words I could possibly compose.

First… Allison “praying”. (Let me tell you, Nancy’s doing a great job training up our kids early in life!) :)

Dads… this second one is for you. The influence of a father is something else… take your God-granted role seriously.

(In case it’s not clear what Jeffrey is doing in the background, he’s holding one of his sister’s dolls, just like Dad is holding his baby sister, Allison.)
