Actual text message from my wife earlier today:
Will you eat a regular taco shell or do you need to buy some soft ones?
My first thought?
Oooh! Tacos for dinner! Rock on!
(Yes, I’m a typical guy, thinking with my stomach first.)
Second thought?
Man, my wife is awesome… she wants to make sure dinner is just the way I like it…
(Give me credit, I recognized she was being thoughtful!)
Third thought?
Hey, wait a second… did she just tell me to go grocery shopping?
Let me tell you, my wife is one smart woman… she got me to agree to run an errand for her, and be thankful to do it.

Newsflash… according to a recent survey, 57% of people indicated belief that God could still save a terminally-ill patient, even if doctors declared further treatment to be futile.
The story? People apparently still believe the Great Physician makes a better doctor than any human being.

Vacation Wrap!

I should probably break this post down into several, but I’ve hardly been a prolific blogger recently. So… here’s the photos from our nine-day day vacation to Lakeshore Resort, along the edge of Lake Taneycomo.
As you can see, we tackled quite a variety of activities while we were there… swimming, amusement park rides, boating, trout fishing (yes, you’ll see I caught more than just trout!), swimming, Silver Dollar City, and more.
It was a great trip, and I’m ready to go back!
